Medical Camps were started from 2000 with the collaboration of senior visiting doctors of Jinnah Hospital Lahore. The 1st medical camp was held under the supervision of Prof. Syed M Awais, Orthopedic surgeon. From 2000 to 2011, about 72,000 patients have been examined in OPD and more than 2,000 surgeries have been performed. About 2,000 referred patients have also been treated in different hospitals of Lahore. In these camps, senior professor doctors of various hospitals participate every year. Plastic surgery facility is also being provided to the patients from 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Moazzam Tarar, Head of Plastic Surgery, Jinnah Hospital Lahore. Jinnah Hospital/Allama Iqbal Medical College is playing a key role in the establishment of medical camps and the treatment of referred patients in Lahore. On the request of our foundation, the administration of Jinnah Hospital/Allama Iqbal Medical College is providing senior doctors and paramedical staff for the establishment of camps on official basis. From 2000 to 2011, total 167 doctors have visited Baltistan during these medical camps. Some doctors visit Baltistan every year with our teams.
